Wil Cowser is a writer, director, and producer from Kaysville, Utah. He holds an MFA in Film and Media Arts from the University of Utah and a BA in Theatre Arts from Southern Utah University. Wil is passionate about working with first-time and early-career filmmakers, helping them discover and develop their own cinematic voices. As a filmmaker, his work leans heavily into genre, with a particular interest in horror, science fiction, and the off-beat style of Utah filmmaking. His recent work includes narrative films, music videos, and experimental media, drawing inspiration from 16mm film, VHS, practical effects, and the bold imagery of pulp novel covers.
